The history of singing is a very long one. The barbaric sounds of of the early man singing were soon replaced by words as language developed. These words were organized by the learned men to give proper meaning to the song. This was a great achievement by the evolved man. But some men like Jimi Hendrix just didn’t evolve as much and out came a genre of lyrics which was as open and expressive as the baboon showing its ass. The lyrics were not predefined but each time the song was sung, the lyrics were different and impromptu depending solely on the singers high spirits. We made the discovery of this genre while we were also on ‘high’ grounds and named this genre unnamed till now as ‘Distorted lyrics’.
For people who are not as ‘talented’ as Jimi, here is an algorithm that will get you started. The illustration of the algorithm is done with the example of a famous distorted lyric Voodoo Child for better understanding.
The algorithm goes as follows …
Step 1) Sing out the first line of the song. In this case ‘Girl I stand up next to a mountain …. ‘
Step 2) For the next set of lines form a sentence and arbitrarily introduce words like ninender, ninayyan, nimmaji pinda etc
Step 3) Sing the chorus. Here ‘Voodoo Child , Voodoo Child’
Step 4) Sing one more prominent line you know in the song. In this case none. Note : In case you don’t know anything further just follow step 2 instead.
Step 5) End the song with a lot of the above mentioned words in step 2 to the tune of the song. Here to the tune of arbit guitaring in the end.
